Examinations
The State Board
Examination is administered on the first Tuesday of every month. Following is
a schedule of SBE dates and application deadline dates. Examination dates are
subject to change due to holiday, weather, etc.

NAVLE Examination
The winter
NAVLE test window will be from November 17 through December 13, 2008. The
projected deadline to apply to take the NAVLE during this test window is
Friday, August
1, 2008.
The
projected
spring NAVLE
test window will be from
April 6 through
April 18, 2009.
The deadline to apply to take the NAVLE during this test window is
Friday, January
3, 2009.
No
late applications will be accepted.

accept applications for and administer the Veterinary Technician National
Examination (VTNE) for state registration of veterinary technicians as
follows:

License/Certificate Renewals
|
All licenses/certificates presently held will expire on
September 30, 2008. The 2009-year renewal period will be held from July 1,
2008 to September 30, 2008 (expiration date).
Continuing education (CE) required for the 2009-year renewal
must be taken between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008. CE taken prior to July
1, 2007 will not be accepted. CE taken after June 30, 2087 will be considered
late and the late CE fee of $25 must be submitted to complete renewal. Please
make sure the CE programs you attended are Board approved/accepted, and that
the attendance documentation is Board acceptable (see Board-approved CE Policy
Statement and/or Board Rules, Chapter 4, for details).
