Pursuant to Board promulgated rules, complaints may be
initiated by any person. Information regarding possible violations of the
Louisiana Veterinary Practice Act and/or Board promulgated Rules or Regulations
should be submitted to the Board's administrative office in writing.
A complaint form is provided on this website and may be
downloaded, completed, and mailed to the Board office. Complaint information
submitted is assigned to a Board Member who, with benefit of general counsel,
shall review and investigate the information for possible violations of the
Louisiana Veterinary Practice Act and/or Board's Rules.
Individual Board Members should not be contacted directly
regarding information on possible violations of the Veterinary Practice Act as
this may cause that member(s) to be forced to recuse himself from the case and
delay the final decision making process.
