Louisiana Veterinary Practice Act, the Board’s Rules, and complimentary
legal authority are provided as a courtesy to the reader. However, they

Veterinary Medicine’s website may not be completely accurate in content at

Therefore, it is advised that the reader verify with the LBVM office on
the validity of legal authority. It would be prudent to follow appropriate
procedure when submitting queries, when applicable, by reviewing Rule 1423
regarding Declaratory Statements.
